I won, not once but twice!!!

I rarely win anything... but when heavenly homemakers hosted a blog give-away last week... I thought... why not......!!!
So, each day I went and signed up for about 20 drawings... and by golly, I WON 2 of them!

The first one was a $25 gift cert. to AMAZON and it came from hearth management. This a a great blog written by a christian woman! My favorite part of her blog is that she links up once a week to other great blogs!!! She also has a sense of humor, and that is what makes anyones blog great!!!!!!!

The second prize was from this wonderful blog having my cake and eating it too! What a great blog this woman has! She has some great Frugal Friday posts that are super fun to read! She also has lots of links for scrapbooking templates! WOW! Might have to look into digital scrapbooking!!!
From her I won a great TILE NECKLACE from THIS wonderful seller on ETSY! I had never seen her shop before and fell in love!!! HERE is the necklace I will be getting!!! AH, I can't wait!

NEWS FLASH!!!!

OH, the best thing EVER EVER EVER (ok , so far this year!) just happened this weekend! My girlfriend told me about Sprints NEW Broadband USB modem!!! So on Saturday after we finished our ROOM RE-DO ( I will blog about that later!) I went to BEST BUY and got a USB modem! AND let me tell you guys... this things is fast... ( I HAD DIAL UP TO ALL WHO WANT TO FEEL SAD FOR ME!) I would rarely download music from ITUNES because it took ATLEAST 10 min for a song... now BOOM, 30 secs! WOW~ I have had to have friends upload my photos to Shutterfly, but now... BOOM... I Can do it myself!
DOWN SIDE.... yes there is one..... I have to figure out where to scrape up $45 more dollars a month to pay for it.... YES, I could give up most of my allowance (all but $5 to be exact) BUT I would rather just try to SELL MORE on etsy! SOOO, look forward to a sale sometime in the near future!!!!!!
Just wanted to share my news!!!!!

I am back.... (for a few days....)

OK, I know I said I would be back on monday, but life was so busy for 2 days... Trev stayed home on monday from school, because he was achy all over... I am SURE he would have been just fine going.... BUT what can you do when you are a MOM?
Yesterday we finally ran some much need errands to the store.... I am going to try out some new face cleaner, toner, and moisterizor/treatment stuff..... side note: I have had bad skin since I was 11, yes, that is right, for 20 yrs of my life... that is pretty poopy if you ask me..... I am ALWAYS trying something to see if it works.... My next step is to try that YAZ (sp?) Birthcontrol pill.... sooo we shall see.... BUT In a few weeks, look for a product review from me on the new stuff!!!!!!
I said in my title (FOR A FEW DAYS) because friday night we are heading north 3 hours to HAYWARD, WI for 2 days of snowmobiling!!!!!!! My hubby, me, and my Brother In Law are going while the kids stay back with the Grandparents for those 2 nights! WOW, we never get this much time away and then it gets shoved into 2 weekends in a row.... The kids are just getting off the high of being with their cousins for 3 nights!!!!!!
Nothing else is new around here.... OH, I am getting ready for a craft fair at my childrens school on March 7th... and my BABY does turn 3 next monday... :-( WOW, my baby is going to be 3 yrs old.... She will start Kindergarten in 2 1/2 yrs.... :-( MAN how time flies! AND we are coming up on our 1 yr anniversary of CLEAN EATING!!!!! We began cutting things out last march and now a yr later we are pretty much CLEAN EATERS at home! I have enjoyed so much learning to make the things we used to buy.... One of my favorite things to make can be found HERE...... on my other blog! YUMMMM!!!!!
OK, that is my update post for now.... better get to sewing if I want to sell anything next weekend!!!!!!

NEWS FLASH!!!!

HUSBAND CANS 35 QUARTS OF APPLE SAUCE AND LIVES TO TELL ABOUT IT!!!

That is right, HE canned these mostly while I was at work yesterday with the help of the kids and then the rest while I sat on my bum lastnight resting after my LONG weekend of work!

WONDERFUL SEWING OPPORTUNITY COMES ALONG!!!

I met a girl GABBY at a craft fair 2 weekends ago. The fair wasn't that profitable for me, but since then, things have gone VERY WELL!!! Gabby sent a friend my way who is buying a quilt and 6 halloween bags.... She also came by my house and bought a waitress apron and a small quilt for her son. BUT the best news of all is.......

Gabby's sister owns her own little shop in a town close to me. She has invited me to sell my items in her shop!!!! For little commission!!!!! I am so excited I could scream!

This is an opportunity that one could only dream of! With my job ending in 3 months, I couldn't be more happier! NOW, the big job is to get sewing! AND figure out what will sell and make TONS of that item! I will update you in the future about how it is going!

HEARTS AT HOME!!!!

I don't know if any of you have heard of hearts-at-home, but it is something ALL of you should chckout! My big news about it is that I am going to the CONFRENCE in 2 months and am super excited!!!! This will be my 4th year going and each year it gets more and more exciting!!!! This year will be the first year I am NOT going with the ladies I usually go with... BUT I am going with a wonderful friend of mine and 2 other ladies she knows! I will let you know more about that as it gets closer too!
